Cars and trucks
large and small
race along the highway.
Where are they going?
And why?
To make money
or spend money,
I suppose.
What if there were
no money to spend
or earn? Then what?
Perhaps all those drivers
would then be still
and know God.

“’Be still and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
exalted on the earth.’
The Lord of hosts is with us;
our stronghold is the God of Jacob.”
