We all understand the concept of air temperature. The “dew point” is the temperature at which the moisture in the air will condense and become visible as mist, fog, clouds, or precipitation. This temperature/dew point (T/D) spread is important in aviation. When the two begin to converge, we’re going to be flying in the clouds. In this I see a metaphor for life, with the temperature being the present and the dew point being the past. The more they converge, the less we’re living fully in the present – and the more we’re flying around in the clouds.
