This morning I drove my first cancer patient to her doctor.
As this was my first time doing this, I was unsure of the outcome:
Would there be a parking place? How long would I need to wait?
These and other questions kept cropping up as I drove the lady.
I remember when I was giving instrument flight instruction
and the weather was not so good.
I would wonder how the instrument approach and landing would go
while we were still en route. I would tell myself:
You can’t make the approach till you get to the destination.
Right now just fly the airplane.
I guess the same is true in all of life:
Excess worry and planning are unnecessary.
We just do our best at whatever we’re doing in the moment.
What are your thoughts?
